Proverbs 27:23-24 says “Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations.”
Luke 16:10 says “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much”.

Couponing Basics
This is a guest post blog I wrote over a year ago at Habits for a Happy Home...
I am blessed to be able to share with you what I have learned about saving money because I believe that as Christians, we should be wise spenders. Everything we have is a gift from God and how we spend our money should honor Him. We need to take control of our money. Being good stewards requires us to plan ahead and make good choices in how we use the gifts God has given us and being responsible with those gifts will be pleasing to Him.

Who are We to Judge?
I hear many christians speaking hatred and contempt toward a woman who was not found guilty of murder. As a mother, it is hard for me to understand the circumstances surrounding the case, but who am I to judge? I am a sinner, just like eveyone else. What makes one sin worse than another?

VBS 2011: Big Apple Adventure
One of our favorite things about summertime is VBS! Every year I have a blast decorating my classroom. The theme for this year(2011) was Lifeway's Big Apple Adventure. I have never been to New York City, so this was a challenging theme for me, but here are some of the things I did to go along with the Bible Study at Battery Park theme.
VBS 2010 :Saddle Ridge Ranch
The VBS theme for 2010 was Saddle Ridge Ranch...Roundin' up questions, drivin' home answers! This theme was so much fun to decorate. The bible study room centered around a fireplace. Throw in some quilts, cowboy hats and a few country accents and there you have it!

Daddy's Girl
Father's Day is a complicated time for me. Mostly, it reminds me of how blessed and thankful I am to have a stepfather who stepped up and has always loved me as his own. Most importantly, I am reminded of My Heavenly Father.
Father's day always stirred up memories of the complicated and sometimes non-existent relationship I had with my father. So, I want to share my story so that others can understand my journey and what eventually led me to a relationship with My Heavenly Father.

"Screwball" a.k.a. Tracy UPDATE!
Thursday morning we were all getting ready for VBS when I heard Tracy, my 3 year old yell. I knew it was a cry for help, so I ran to him and he was crying and pointing at his mouth. I thought he had cut his gum on something he had been chewing on and in the process of trying to figure things out he told me he had been chewing on a ball.
